Camels visit The Green

Christmas preparations were well on their way on The Green (what in November?). How many trucks does it take to erect a christmas tree? Three in the photograph and there was yet another on the other side of our entrance!  Four! Anyway, then yesterday afternoon the three christmas camels were spotted chumping on the Green. They had come all the way from a farm in Stratford on Avon, but not led on foot by their wise men. Then later was the switching on of the tree lights, a crowded gathering with some very premature carol singing, but the and mums and dads and kids didn’t care, they sang along loudly.

Thank you to our local resident, Ronald A Sim, for taking these fabulous picture and providing a synopsis of events.
